Please let me know which book to get

Am getting a decent midRange hard tail (Cube Team Ltd 2008) and obviously want to maintain this myself and look after it. Can change tyres, wheels etc.,,. the very basics but want to get more and more into it so I become a decent standard at self (not personal self that's for meditation.) maintenance of this bike.

Can you recommend a no nonsense easy to follow book I could get? As there are thousands of them (ok maybe NOT thousands) to choose from.

Would like to hear from you guys first hand if possible.

Thanks always

    use the parktools website first.
    then sheldons

    then maybe buy a book.

i agree with Nick, there is more then enough info at parktools and sheldons to start off with, and you can alway print off specific manuals for your gear direct from the manafacturers websites
if you really want a book then have a look at either Zinns or the Haynes manual, they both seem to be pretty good and explain things clearly

Zinn & the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance & The Park Big Blue Book of Bike Repair if you want some off line reading.
