Received today by email... I'd like to do it but I'm off on a charity ride in Southern Ireland - 190ish miles in 2 days - that weekend.
Thank you for your enquiry in our new London 2 South Coast Off Road Bike Ride.
We at the BHF (British Heart Foundation) are very excited to be bringing you this brand new, challenging off road experience, and have an update of where we are with regards to event details.
There are 73 miles of fabulous mountain biking starting from Roehampton University, London and finishing in Hove. The majority of the route is off road and as such this event really does cater for those looking to get away from the traffic and enjoy a testing but achievable journey from London to the South Coast.
You need to be able to transport yourself to and from the event and please note there is no permanent parking (drop off only) at Roehampton College so you need to make alternative arrangements should you wish to park. There will be places to pick up in Hove at the finish and pay and display parking.
We will be opening online registration on Friday 18th July

Please note, numbers are strictly limited to a maximum of 400 cyclists! We have already received countless enquiries into this event so don’t forget to put the 18th into your diary and register ASAP to stand the best chance of getting one of the limited spaces!
Due to the exclusivity of this event, the BHF is asking every cyclist to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £75 to help us to keep hearts beating in 2008.
We look forward to seeing you there!
