Fixing a bent frame

Hi,

I have a steel frame, and it's bent (about 2 cm difference between either side measuring from axle to head tube), so it wants to go round in circles.

Is there a way for me to straighten it?

If there aren't, could any one suggest a shop near to Southampton that can do it?

Thanks in advance.

Depends how much it's bent, what caused the bend (is it likely to have damaged parts that aren't immediately obvious) and exactly what is bent.

If it's fairly straight forward and it's a decent frame then take it to your nearest frame builder. I could find one in Derby but not elsewhere.

If it's unrepairable you could do what I've done. Build it up with old but serviceable components and have it permanently attached to your turbo trainer where you won't come to any serious harm if it doesn't handle too well :)
