Commencal -Tyres

I have just bought my first dirt jump bike, which to my disgust has already been nicknamed the girls/gay bike by my parents due to its baby blue colour.
I'm off to the alps in the summer so i am looking to put on some proper tyres to grip, as opposed to the kenda k-rads that the bike came with, purely semi slick hardpac tyres.
However there is little room between the rear tyre and the chain stays with the kendas on, so i was wondering if maxxis high rollers 2.3 would fit?
