Campag lockring

Anyone know if there is some reason a lockring supplied with my new campag neutron ultra wheels (which I am told should fit an 11sprocket) doesnt fit my chorus 11-23 cassette? The cassette has been sitting around unused for a while and is probably 3 or 4 years old.

    Not sure, but the locking supplied with my Zondas was definitely for 12T cassettes. The 11-25T cassettes are shipped with an 11T lockring, don't know about 11-23T.

    There are two current lockrings for the Campag specific freehub bodies...one for 12/13/14T and one for 11T. Wheelsets are provided with the former as cassettes are supplied without a lockring unless it starts with an 11T where a CS-501 (11T specific) lockring is bundled with it.

    Edit.....of course that also means that a 11-whatever cassette is £10-12 more than a 12 or 13 as you buying a new lockring everytime whether you need another or not.
