    nice find.

He writes very well. I thought the slingshot was for the track only!

I used to enjoy his old website and was sad it had to close when he was found positive.

He's been doing diaries on bicycling.com for a while. His TdF ones last year were excellent, and his Giro diaries this year were great too. It looks like the same diary entries for the 2008 TdF are on bicycling.com as well as the slipstream website.

    Hi there.

Usually... Lets hope the commissaires don't read his diary. iirc McEwen was penalised for taking a handsling to get him up to the sharp end at a Giro sprint a couple of years ago.

58.7km/h for 4 minutes and he still couldn't make it all the way?

    J*sus effin Chr1st!!!

Them and CSC have probably the best "team" in the race. They all just look out for and respect one another, it's fantastic.

I am sooooo glad the sat nav I bought last month was a Garmin... must have been a sort of premonition.

Millar really can write. It reminds me of Lance Armstrong's (ghosted?) books, but with a sense of humour.

Maybe when he retires from the racing game he'll pen a book - could make for an entertaining read. Some sportsmen (and women) can turn in a decent book without the need for a ghost writer, as evidenced by Michael Hutchinson's excellent "The Hour".

He's an entertaining enough writer, though if he carries on using the reflexive pronoun 'myself' when he means 'I' or 'Me' I will have to kill him.
