Urrrghhhh

Right I am considering using Hope floating Rotors with my Juicy 7's. I know ill have to ditch the tabs on the pads this is no problem however my question is..

My rear rotor is the Avid 185mm but Hope only do a 183mm version. Has anyone tried this and does the reduction, albeit small, in braking surface make much of a difference if any at all (especially as it is the rear brake).

I have the sneaking impression that the 1mm reduction at the caliper will be within tolerances and the pad will still have a full braking surface.

Second question has anyone encountered any issues using these rotors that I havent mentioned????

Cheers as always!

all i have to say is why?

no improvement in braking forces. more problems as people have issues removing avid pads as it is. the floaters often creak.

    yes they are pimp.
