Brake Pads

I need to get some brake blocks for my 3 month old specialized tricross sport.
I'm a bit baffled by the variety and types of block, the brakes are the type that the cable goes into from the side and they have a rubber sleeve and a curved metal tube
Vague description I know, but I know you guys will know what I mean!!
Can anyone point me in the direction of some blocks that will fit, I think they are held in with split pins!
Cheers

...these? Sounds like you may have V brakes...
...I doubt they are held in with split pins......all the way...'til the wheels fall off and burn...0 -
You do have V-brakes, and if they have a pin in the side, then the pad can be replaced
These will fit

Or any other brand, as long as it says they are for V brakes, should be fine.0
