How good is it supposed to be?
Was it not the material of choice at some stage? Very stiff and light. Was going to get the ribble one at one stage0 -
I want one of these too with the easton scandium tubing. There's not many of them in existence at present, I was talking to Dom at Kinesis yesterday about them, but they're a very good ride apparently. But the forks you would get if you bought one today from Wiggle or elsewhere apparently won't take a full length mudguard, the correct ones are going to be available August time.
What a great sportive and winter trainer bike they would make. Handbuilt wheels and compact or triple.

i was thinking it would make a great all rounder. i really want something that i can spank! Looking at the kinesis Kic2 but it doesn't have mudguard eyelets etc for all year round commuting and weekend riding duties. this is looking like a great bike for the money, fully specced with campy velcoe and a centaur carbon crank with ritchey finishing kit for 1450 looks great though.0

Where did you see it for 1450 Matt?0

Currently in my shopping basket at wiggle awaiting green light on cycle to work scheme. My own build includes granfondo frame and forks with selcof seatpost, easton ea70 wheel set, veloce gruppo but with centaur carbon cranks, conti GP 4000 tyres, charge spoon Ti saddle - price with discounts 1481 - knock off 50% with the cycle to work scheme - and interest free loan over 18 months - looking Good!0

Sounds lovely mate be sure to let us see some piccies eh?
Just remember about the forks Matt. The message I got from Dom was the following:
'The first batch of forks has come through slightly to short to fit a front 'guard! They are being replaced and sent to the shops FOC, so if you buy one they will replace it with a 'mudguard friendly' one as soon as they are available [should be early Aug.] '
So as long as you get one in August, you should be ok. Oh and btw, the picture of the frame at Wiggle is not correct. It shows black forks when in actual fact the forks will be paint -matched to the frame.
Nice ............ :P0 -
thanks for the advice. it looks like its going to be a wicked bike for about 800 with the cycle to work discount. i don't think i'll be buying until sometime in august. Can't wait, my orbea force is dying on it's wheels!!0
