Im thinking of upgrading the folks on my Claud Butler Cape Wrath, they are currently Rockshock J3. what i need to know is just how good are these folks and what would be a good choice of upgrade in the region of £100-£150 ? Thanks

considerably better, that's what £150 on new forks would be ;)

Rockshox (Tora/Recon) or Marzocchi (Not MZ ones though!)

Tora's are superb forks especially for the money. They'll be much plusher and stiffer than your J3's. These would do nicely (although perhaps a little long fully extended), or if you're saving money they have some basic 100mm Tora's for £90.
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!
