Hi,
I am looking at selling my 03 spesh enduro Frame or complete, Looking at the on one frames, they are quite cheap and have pretty good reveiws from what i have heard. Are they strong? light enough to climb? Does anyone have one or can they recommend one of there frames. I am after a geared hardtail which would take a 4/5 inch travel fork. Basically i am after a singletrack weapon also a commuter for work, any other frames you know of please advise.

Thanks

Don't own one myself but the On-One 456 gets some seriously good reviews. The only problem you might have getting hold of one - they seem to sell out pretty quickly!

A bit more pricey, but also consider -

    DMR Trailstar
    Dialled Bikes Prince Albert
    Cotic Soul
    Cotic BFe
    Cove Handjob

Seriously pricey, but WAY cool -

If not steel that you need, and want to drop some weight, then the Kinesis Maxlight XC120 and Pha5e worth a look. Cheao and light, and pretty strong.

456 is a very good frame, if you are not into huge jumps and more 'normal' thye of riding, consider the ScandAL frames by on-one as well.
Think there is a container coming over the sea full of on-one stuff as we speak, so you may well be able to get one soon.

I've got a Scandal, lovely bike, seriously light, and very chuckable in tight singletrack, surprisingly comfy for an Alu hardtail. the Frame Weighed in at just under 1.5kg, so not hard to build up a nice light bike from one. Brant has apparently only had one scandal frame come back broken, from some guy accidentally riding fast straight into a brick wall, so they are pretty strong too.

The standard Inbred is exactly the same geometry as the scandal, but made of steel, so should be pretty similar, but a bit heavier, so depends if you want steel or alu really.
    Not ridden one myself though.

456 is quite a bit burlier, but will take up to a 6" fork, and I think They have a new frame coming out soon, too (the 456 Summer Season).
