Looks alright but aluminium and 105 can be got for half the price at Focus and other brans. £1000 can also get you carbon or Dura Ace as well at some places.0

i do have a decathlon bike, 170 quid for a sora equiped baby last october before there sale, wish i had gone for the triple campag one that was 100quid more.., so wasnt bad as a first bike....
The bikes above that dont seem as good value as the planet x, ribble etc... no idea why0 -
I just bought the £500 one with 10 speed mirage, carbon forks and rear end.
I was going to give her my old wheels, but it didn't come with 700s. However, although smaller the wheels are perfect for her diminutive frame.
Decathlon have great buying power and the bike come with pedals (keo) and lights. I also got a 5% dicount just for asking which just about covered her new shoes.0 -

The Venus is for people who need short reach. Do you need short reach ?
Although after saying that, If I had £1000 budget I'd be going with the Dura Ace equipped Planet X....0
