I've just ordered a new nuke proof coil for my cove gspot and want to spray it to match my pedals. Anybody done this? Do people think it will work? What sort of spray paint should I use, just regular car stuff?

    Try something like these?

designed for very flexible plastic model car bodies so should cope with the flex, don't know how well they'll adhere to metal though.

Springs are usually polymer powder coated, it's a lot more flexible than ordianry paint. Seems a shame to spoil the look of the Nuke Proof, quite stealth really!

the model paint should be fine, i use it on my r/c car and its desingned to flex with the shell. but it tends to not be a gloss colour as the gloss effect is provided by the polycarbonate shell. you spray it from the inside if you get my drift?! anyway enough of r/c cars, i think the spring looks very smart in black with the yellow writing.

Yeah, having got it out the box, it does look quite bad ass in glossy black, its just my frame, forks, wheels, bars, seat and cranks are all black. Only got green pedals so wanted some more colour. Anyhoo, it's probably not worth the hassle. Cheers anyway.
