Bike Insurance

I’m taking my bike to France at the end of the month and want to have it insured against theft and accidental damage. To add it to my household insurance would cost an extra £28 per month (based on a bike value of £3,000), does this sounds about right? Are there any specific bike insurers that it’d be worth looking at first?

Thanks.

    Hi there.

Have a look at Mark and Spencers home insurance, they will cover individual items up to £4000 without any extra cost.

I'm not sure about cover outside of the UK on any of these policies though.
