"Getting away with it?" if this was a pedestrian and they got hit by a car then I'm sure the police would have pressed charges of dangerous driving if not more. Since it's a cyclist he hit then yes the driver has got away with it. Since I don't for one minute feel that the driving improvement course justify what the outcome was. If i was the driver i would feel that i got away with it had that been me. Tell me you wouldn't feel the same.

"Should be sent down" Personally i would have thought at the very least he should have been in court. Um i don't recollect anything about steaks or heads (not even a Buffy fan).

"vindictive and hateful" Yup I admit it I am vindictive and Hateful but then if someone almosts takes my life due their carelessness I don't really care what you think - I don't want to be another statistic.

Okay, I'll bite on this one.
So, you tell me. What did he mean by "getting away with it"? And what did he mean
by "sent down for that"?
What is he "getting away with"?
Where or what is this "down" thesmellyone wants him sent to?

I don't think he "got away" with a lot, I certainly don't think the cycling community would gain much by him being "sent down", voluntary euthanasia should be offered possibly?

So, you admit to being hateful and vindictive. Sounds like you're a human being to me.
You have faults like everyone else, myself included. Can you not accept that other people
have faults also and that these faults just might interfere with your idea of perfection
on the road between cars and cyclist. You have never reached for the radio dial, glanced into the back seat at the children, looked at a billboard, found yourself in traffic
situations where the only reason you didn't get hit was a bit of luck, not seen that patch of ice, or been in a situation where you just didn't see that other car?
And yes, I do know how I would feel if it were myself who got hit.
