Epitaph For an Old Continent' by Walter Laqueur?
I just finished this book. As an American I found it quite intriguing and more than a little worrisome.
Country by country analyses of Europe's problems and future. He mentions that (according to 2006 Pew poll) in the UK, people tend to look more favorably on the local Muslim population than in the rest of Europe, while at the same time Muslims in the UK look less favorably upon the citizens of their host country than in other Euro countries. An odd paradox.
Any one read this? Bunk or truth?

Not so much the people, as in the general population, but it definitely seems like this as far as the politicians and political policy are concerned.0
