Don't know about the bike, but I saw a post recently that said Halfords would order in ANY bike you wanted, so I would check that with your local branch. That way you won't feel compelled to buy something they have on the shop floor

Cycle To Work Scheme rocks! I'd never have afforded my ride otherwise. I might get another job somewhere else just so I can get another bike!!
  • I thought it was referenced by your NI number meaning changing jobs won't help.

The middle range Boardman MTB (Team?) has a better overall spec than the Voodoo.

Nice choice- I'd like a hardtail, and that looks the dogs danglies. Bet you can't stand the sight of the first bike you wnated! The Cube has a way better spec.

Did you order yours through the bike-to-work scheme?

I do still like the look of the Voodoo, but after reading a myriad of reviews about the chain being suspect and the way the paint can easily chip (yes I know I was being very very picky) I was put off, then I found the Cube (black version). Yes I was pursuaded by looks first.. call me a sucker for a pretty face..lol
Then checked out the specs and I do think its better value for money and it being German it's bound to last longer.

Right it's time for strong coffee!

    Peace
