Track taster session at Welwyn?

I mainly ride an MTB,do the occasional bit of road cycling,but have a real itch to try track cycling.
As I live about 7 miles from Gosling,I wondered if it is possible to have tuition or a taster session there?
Do you need to belong to a club?
Can ayone help me out?

Training sessions every Monday starting at 7pm - don't need a racing licence or belong to a club - you DO need a track bike, but they have quite a few bikes you can hire there. Get there early to bag a bike if you are an odd size.
Cost £2-3 + £3 bike hire I think
Hire bikes have Look pedals (old style) or clips&straps
