Just bought a new Giant SCR 2 and need some new glasses. Nothing fancy, basically to keep the flies out of my eyes. Have to look nice as well.
Any recommendations around £25-30 for something that won't slip off my face when biking.

Try googling Rudy Project and see what comes up. They may be a bit out of range, but very good glasses...

Will do. I see you come from a quality part of the country :-)

Where would you buy from in Sussex ? I only really know Evans.

Try Madison D'Arcs - they come with three inter changeable lenses being clear, black and yellow. I managed to get 2 pairs for £40 from Cyclexpress.

Whilst not as stylish as other brands (although they're not that bad) they serve their purpose of keeping flies and bugs out of the eyes and squinting in bright sunlight very well.

My only gripe is that in summer evenings you can be plunged in to darkness as you enter tree cover. However, I suppose light reactive lenses is the only way to prevent this and these are mega money!

I will certainly have a look for them as well. One last question, do they stay on the face ok or do you need to have a cord on them to stop them falling off ?

They stay on the face fine - although I have been told I have a bit of a 'pug' nose. Lol!

In all seriousness they are a very good piece of kit.

I got some glasses with 5 lenses from probikekit for around £20 last year and are pretty good. I've just bought my wife some Endura 3 lense glasses from evans for £30 and Ribble are doing some Kuota for £25 currently.

I bought some Nike glasses from the states last year for a fortune and lost them 2 weeks ago _ gutted - I bought some more from a Nike Outlet (Wirral) but must be loads of them around - should have been £66 rrp but paid £20 from the outlet not as good as my lost ones but perfectly adequate for the price - infact a bargin

Quality part indeed my good man! 8)

In-Gear (Uckfield) or Southdown Bikes (Storrington) are who I'd recommend...
