Single trip insurance

I've always paid about a tenner with some company on the net as a bit of an after thought. By that, I mean it offers a little bit of peace of mind but I'm sure if I had a nasty stack, my tenner wouldn't offer much in the way of returns.

Can anyone recommend a travel insurance policy that would cover a weeks cycling (not touring, just day rides) in France. Maybe even insures bike on car racks but I'm sure thats too much to ask...

I'm not going to be doing many other trips within the year so best just to cover myself for the week I presume.

    I use insureandgo. It's good for (non-racing) cycling.

    My bike is covered abroad by my home insurance with M&S.
