That's a bit of a shocker! Oleg must be beefing the squad up a bit.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

No doubt Oleg is thinking quite sensibly ahead to the Tour of Russia next year and needs to bolster the squad to make an impact there and ensure they keep on getting the wildcard invites elsewhere. Aren't there going to be fewer Pro tour teams next year as well? Might be going for a licence?

Is that sarcasm?! I think Oleg is thinking more Tour de France than Tour of Russia! Only Pat McQuaid and Vladimir Putin are thinking ahead to the Tour of Russia...

Anyway, it's a good signing, but ya reckon Steegmans can handle being a team leader? He seems to always put in his best performances when he's riding for other people (first McEwen then Boonen).

Steegmans is a good addition to that team. They needed someone who could handle the sprints better than Loddo, who is well past his sell-by date. He may also be useful for getting into the spring Classics for the team. Tinkoff seems to be on a real spending spree. It'll be interesting to see who they can snatch up and what they can do with them.

They've also signed Henrik Redant as a DS. Oleg's got dreams of Flanders!

Interesting to see how Steegmans does. Will Lefevere make his boys work for Steegmans to sprint?
