Hi,
What pressures does everybody run? I'm running 40psi i'm finding i'm getting a lot of punctures, is this because of the pressure? I ride on tarmac mainly but the odd dirt track. Is it better to run 50psi maybe?

Thanks,
Simon

35-65, depending whether I'm on road, off road, in gloop, or on hard dusty trails.

What sort of punctures, pinch flats (Snakebite)?

    What tyres/tubes?

Mainly snake bites. But do get the odd hole.

I'd try them a bit harder then, 45-55psi covers most terrain, as andy says though thick mud, and loose sand will require lower.

The correct tyre pressures will vary from person to person and trail to trail so it's a good idea to start with a baseline tyre pressure of 45 psi on the rear and 35 psi on the front. ThenOnce you get out on the road or dirt track reduce the pressure by 5 psi and see how the bike feels.
