I thought they'd closed down and Mercian were the only guys now.I'd rather walk than use Shimano0

Italian Cycle Products went under last year - there is current no official UK service centre. As Rob says, Mercian are pretty helpful and Parker International are good for parts too. That said, I got a quote for a brake lever blade a few years ago - it was £80 - you can buy a pair of levers for £100. From memory, the inner lever was about £25.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

thanks .:cry
I read somewhere else there was no current UK campy agent. I was just hoping it was a new agency.
Its the inner lever .Best chance is probably to buy a broken used one0 -
I have a feeling there may be a new agency in the pipeline, will let you know if I hear anymore.0

its CAMPAG not CAMPY FFS!'dont forget lads, one evertonian is worth twenty kopites'0

That's why there is no current Campy UK agent, never has been and hopefully never will be!!I'd rather walk than use Shimano0 -

it was always campy back in the days when I used to use it
don't worry we are not looking to start a silly C vs S debate. Everyone knows Shimano is light years ahead of Campy lol0 -
I need a new Mirage 9 speed left hand lever - the plastic bit that holds the lever has cracked  Damn BA baggage handlers! Could it be repaired, or do I need a new pair of levers? £60 a pair is cheapest I can find, which I could do without...0

If you live in or near London, you can get a lot of Campagnolo parts from Condor.
And who cares if someone says Campy? Really. There are other things to worry about in life.0 -

thanks .
Condor are an old established business I thought they had gone years ago.
I'll give them a call tomorrow cheers0 -
When you say Left hand Ergo do you mean front or rear shifter ?. I've just mangled my Right hand centaur QS 10sp (front gear shifter) brake lever in a major 'off' but the inner lever is fine....and it all shifts OK
...I'm looking to buy just the brake blade but it looks like (official campag sapres prices list) would cost at least £50 if I could even buy one anywhere. I expect new inner will be £30....Ribble sells new pair Centaur 10s ergos for less than £100 !....
maybe we can buy and split the bits ?Briceyinstockport0 -
It looks like there is now a UK service centre for Campagnolo (the second item down on the ever excellent washingmachinepost);

I'll suggest it to my neighbour whose Centaur lever it is thats broke. he is going to fit a 9 speed Mirage for the time being so he can use the bike .
I'll get back to you tomorrow .
Paul I have sent you a PM0 -
I'll be needing a 9 speed Mirage front mech lever so if anybody wants to split a pair of those I'd be up for it.0

looks like we are all looking for the same lever
I read on a site that you can use the parts from a 8 speed or 10 speed lever as the range is all up-gradeable and down-gradeable from 1999 onwards . Check first before buying obviously0 -
Well I emailed the guys at Mercian and they reckon it can be repaired - I'll give them a call tomorrow and let you know what they say.0
-
yes but I expect it will equal the cost of half a new pair at least . Good luck let us know how you get on.
Make sure you get a firm price before you send the lever because once they have got it stripped down on their bench you haven't really got any options0 -
I can't believe we've finally got an official Campagnolo service centre in the UK.
I hope they'll stock a selection of small parts and replacement bits to purchase, as well as servicing. There's an article on here about it:

Been on foreign sites & a single Centaur lever is around GBP60-70 delivered. Seems crazy pricing for the levers compared to the price of a pair of complete Centaur ergos (GBP100 delivered) - 2 levers is 20% more than two complete ergos ! ....Also found and completed this strapline.....
Campagnolo.....designed in Paradise, build in Heaven, for spare parts go to hell !....Briceyinstockport0 -

R.J.chicken & son are uk importers for campag try your local bike shop should be able to help0
-
well I just took the centaur apart and wished I hadn't
Why on earth did Campag decide to stop using aluminium inner levers and start using a fragile plastic ? can't believe it was a cost cutting exercise. The cynic in me says its to reduce the lifetime of levers to generate more sales.
Lets face it if you 10speeed ergo levers last years why would you want to replace it ? Not many are going to be able to afford upgrading to 11 speed or a while
One plus point is that it would appear that all levers throughout the range have compatible parts.0
