Forks for heavy people

Hi all, first of all i'd like to say hello , as this is my first post on bikeradar.
I'm after some new forks for my Kona Kikapu for around the £250 mark. I only use it for commuting and trail riding, no jumps or massive drops or anything like that.
The only real issue is that i weigh in at just under 18 stone  , handy enough on the rugby pitch but not too useful out on the trails. I was looking at Rock Shox revelations and recons and like the idea of coil spring as they seem a bit sturdier.
Also I was wondering if 20mm axles may be worth considering?
Any advice from fellow heavyweights would be appreciated

As you said, if you are not doing any jumps, then I think 20mm axel it's not worthed,
and maybe the frame doesn't support 140mm of travel, in wich 20mm axels came with.0 -
Big bloke looking for 100mm strong coil fork with bolt through - Argyle http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=13128
However, note that 20mm bottom will probably need new hub and you will need to buy a heavy spring since unlike an air fork, you cannot just increase the pressure.
If you don't want to change your hub a Dirt Jump 2 might be the order of the day http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=21570"Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0
