Yes, my 'little' brother was a Chief Tech in Germany maintaining RB199s in 1991. He felt guilty when he got compassionate leave to attend Dad's funeral because it meant others were having to cover for his absence.
However, I think this brings an even bigger lump to some throats. I used to race small boats against a pilot of one of these in the 70s. XH558 is a bit of a bottomless financial pit though.
