For those of us too old and too tight (i.e. me) to have views on ten-speed chains (as in t'other recent thread,) can anybody recommend a value-for-money, basic chain? I do fixed, singlespeed, Simplex/Mavic/SuntourBarEnd retofriction, and, in occasional moments of self-indulgent technological state-of-the-art-ness, 8-speed Ergopower (wow!)

Tescos do a "Value" chain for £4. Any takers?
