Bike for £500

Hi,

I currently own a Shogun Gatecrasher 300 bike in pretty much new condition. Im going to sell it or part ex for sumat new but the vast choice and diff types has left me confused. I want a hardtail and its for xc and trails. Any ideas for £500?

    Personal choice would be from Giant xtc 4.5 (although apparently this years model is not as good as last years model), Specialized Hardrock, or Scott Scale 70.

    obviously the more cash you can afford to spend, the better rig you will get.

    Best advice though would be to take a trip to several Local Bike Shops and try a few out, what ever suits you best is ultimately the best choice. :D

    Well il have a look at them and i guess i do just need to give them a try and see what feels right!
