Crowd noise

Where do they get the crowd noise from for the TdF? It sounds like a soundtrack - you can hear clapping and yelling even when there's nobody by the side of the road!

    It's probably all the stuff going on at the stage finish area coming over the commentator's microphone. There's all sorts of entertainment, and the caravan going through for a while before the finish.

    Yes, it's the effects mic hanging out of the commentary booth at the finish
