Garmin Edge 305 - how to add locations?

Apologies for what is probably a duplicate thread, but I'm hauling ass to France in a couple of hours & urgently need to know how best to get a location (like my hotel...) marked on, for example, google maps, and transfer this to my Edge 305. Not a route, just a location for when I get nearby?

Anyone up yet??

Go to the menu, select navigation, then mark location. It will default to your current location (so easiest to wait until you're actually at the hotel), but if you want you can overwrite the latitude and longitude that come up and thereby mark any location that you know lat and long for.

Cheers for the reply - I will be doing that once I get there to correct any difference I have.

I was under the impression it was possible to preset a location so that you can head (vaguely) towards it? The Edge comes with a couple of Garmin HQ's preset in there, as examples?

Edit - should have read that properly, I think I can get this sorted by the lat & long then! Ta! (My directeur sportif really should be sorting this for me fs! )

Nope, I'm shafted again. I go to "mark location", but when I try to manually adjust the lat & long, I can do the long, but the lat won't allow me to put "W 2.753813" - it blocks me at the .7? I can only go up to .5? I don't have time for this faffing!!
