Rear Mech advice
Hi guys. I've recently decided to have a little project and build my own bike using a new frameset I got hold of. I've done pretty much everything apart from fitting a new compact chainset and then setting up the gears. I've got the following:
Veloce compact 34/48 chainset
Veloce compact front mech
Mirage medium cage rear mech
Centaur short cage rear mech
Mirage 13-29 cassette
Obviously I'd like to use the Centaur mech as it's a higher spec than the Mirage but will it give me shifting problems?
Any advice would be of great help to this bike building virgin!!

Many people have used a 29 sprocket with a shortcage mech, it depends whether you can trust yourself not to mis-shift onto the 29 when you are on the large ring.0
