Any Good Rides In Southwest Germany??

Hi there,
In around a month's time, I'll be in Germany's Black Forest region. This is unfortunately as close as I shall get to the Alps for a couple more years, so I really want a good climb.
Has anyone ridden around Freiburg who can recommend a couple of good routes.
Looking at my map I can see that Belchen is the highest summit around at 1414m, but the map doesn't say exactly how high the road actually climbs.
Any advice would be appreciated, whether or not it's to recommend a climb or just a good in the region.
