Schwinn Road Bike - any good?

Hi,
I've got the opportunity to buy a brand-new 2007 model Schwinn Fastback Elite for £500 through a work contact.

Can't find much about the Fastback review-wise, and they seem to be fairly heavily discounted in online stores, so are they any good for general road-riding (mainly used for 15 mile each-way commute, fairly flat with a steep climb at each end)?
The 105-spec stuff looks pretty good, and the carbon forks and seatstays seem good for the money too.
Downside is that I can't ride before buying it (although I can exchange it for a different size)
