Hasn't Samuel Sanchez already usurped Il Falco in the rapid descender stakes?

    Hi there.

Savo is one of my favourite riders, his two giro victories were both superb pieces of tactical genius, beating much stronger riders in the process.

Downhill and in technical prologues he was a joy to watch. I've never seen a rider as smooth in the corners as Il Falco - when you watch him enter a corner there was never any doubt that he'd make the exit. Sammy Sanchez is much more kamikazee in comparison, your heart is in your mouth every time..

    Cheers, Andy

Damm, if I hadn't used the winking smiley I might have got away with that!

    I stand corrected Iain:-)

Il Falco will be missed but his overall performances have dropped a little lately so to retire is probably a good move.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
