Mudguards on a Focus Cayo?

Hi, I'm looking to spend about a grand on an all year round commuting bike. I'm pretty much set on a custom build from Ribble but have just read loads of good things here about the Focus Cayo. However, I can't find any info about whether it will take mudguards. Anyone know anything about this?

i've just bought one of these, and I dont believe it has mudguard fittings. personally, i was just going to wang a crudcatcher on the seatpost if necessary...

You can always fit raceblades which I find pretty good (although many people here don't). They keep the muck off the rider but the bike still gets plastered.

For a year round commuter there are better options out there for that money which will take 'proper' mudguards and are still quick.

i have one and there isn't a chance of fitting propper guards.
    raceblades are your only hope.

Hell yeah - it's gonna match the spokie dokies, the tassels and the pink basket i'll be attaching to the front. ;)

I presume raceblades are the roadie equivalent of crudcatchers, yeah? I'm a bit new to all this lycra-clad, narrow-tyred stuff. More used to muddy singletrack...

Don't forget the playing card clothes-pegged to the back wheel!

    Broooooom!

I think these "messenger style" flinger skinny mudguards look pretty good on road bikes. They look sweet on fixers.
