That ramp they have to ride down looks tricky - could end one's race before it's started.

Given his luck lately - I'm amazed that Stuey made it down the ramp in one piece.

Didnt look as exciting as last year did it ?

I was expecting Frank Schleck to fall off as he's not too good going downhill
Last years was far better

you didn't miss much! They only introduced the teams and spoke about everyones chances, but that was it. I would imagine ITVs preview will be somewhat better in sight into the next few weeks.

Just watching ITV4 and they are still reviewong last year! I thought it was going to preview this year. I could have been watching the tennis.
Re the Presentation did anyone else see those new strips for Columbia and Garmin and think - How boring! I did. More blue for one and white shorts for the other. No, please not more blue jerseys and white shorts definitely a wardrobe malfunction. And why the black gaffer tape over the sleeve edge?

Also, Valverde's Spanish champions jersey is RUBBISH. Just looks like a regular Caisse d'Eparne jersey with a tiny amount of red and yellow trim. The one Rodriguez wore last year was much better.

Where can I find a 30 minute summary of each stage like they used to do at 6pm each day on C4 ??

Rodriguez looked like a takeaway pizza worker in red and yellow.

In past years, ONCE riders were instructed not to win the Spanish championships as Manolo Saiz didn't want riders to race in non-team colours. Indurain was Spanish champion but just had the red and yellow on his sleeves, Luxembourger Kim "Wild" Kirchen is doing the same with his Columbia clothing.

ITV 4 has a 60 minute show every day at 7pm. You could always fast forward the first half.

Bah. Either wear the proper jersey or don't enter the race, that's what I say. I think Vogondy is the only guy in the race with a distinctive national jersey.
