Hi all, after weeks of debating and being outbid at the last second on Ebay I have finally taken the plunge and bought a new bike!
Having read many reviews, and speaking to some dedicated riders at work, I was torn between the Kona Blast and the GT Avalanche 1.0, 2008 model.
I tried both and felt that the Avalanche suited me better, I also got a great deal at £449.00 which is the cheapest I have found. I also get a free service after 3 months.
My last bike was a Giant Chicago which served me well for many many years but I stopped riding a while ago. I have taken it up again as a way of getting fit and reaquainting myself with the joys of cycling. I'm on nightshift tonight and tomorrow so looking forward to my first outing on Saturday.
I think that's enough for now, don't want to bore you with my first post.
