Excellent videos,brings it all back as I was there 2 years ago.I can't explain the feeling of sitting for hours on end by the roadside and then they go past just like on your vids.Seems crazy but it seems to work for me anyway,how long were you standing at the roadside for ?
I've vowed to go back next year to go through it all again.

Yeah if i can remember we arrived ther about 11am and set up two deckchairs and a parasol to keep the sun off us hehe it was very warm thet day, then as the action started to build we packed the chairs and parasol away to give others a chance at the barrier too hehe. Our CLub has a wee Team Jersey copmetition, get a pic taken with club jersey on in unusual places, last winner was in the Nue Camp Stadium in Barcelona for instance. I was nursing a broken collarbone that trip so i didnt have club jersey with me........ only got my pic taken on the podium hehe missed oppurtunity or what!!



I wont be at the Tour ths year, sadly but good reason tho, we are expecting a wee nipper in September..... Woooo Hoooo!!

Last years Tour i got to see 3 stages including the final TT, Cognac-Angouleme, which was very handy as Angouleme i just about 25 mlies from our French house, i had my bike with me so was able to scooot about the course and got to hang about 'back-stage' which was very cool as i got to ride with David Millar on his cool down ride. I was wearing my Club top which is red/black/white and the rest of my gear was CSC kit, the amount of kids asking me for my Bidon (water bottle) and autograph was hilarious even had a few people taking pix of me........ i had to explain in pidgin-french that i was not a rider hehe even heard some-one say '...Vladimir Karpets?' hehe i have very long hair hehe
