good place to go for a riding weekend?

i wanna go for a weekend of riding, but dunno where to head ideally needs to be accessible via public transport, as an idea i've done the north face at grizedale and thought tht was fantastic so any ideas

I noticed at the weekend that Betws-y-Coed has a train station. There's some great riding there and in the local area. Port Talbot is quite close to Afan and has a station. The riding there is absolutely superb 8)

Have to agree with Pittpony. Afan forest is superb, camp on site aswell!!!
