But sadly it is true. The Boomerang, Les Gets, was robbed monday night/tuesday morning, and 7 bikes including my Mini-link were half inched.
I'm on borrowed internet at the moment, so I won't be back on the internet until I get home at the weekend (riding a borrowed supreme DH and a Sunday at the mo to tide me over), but just asking if you peeps on here could start spreading the word around and about the bike forums for me.
I'm getting hold of the importer by phone, as any brooky parts have to come through him, so good to keep his ears open.
Can't get a pic here at the moment as I'm foiled by a PC that's all in french, but pics and a pretty current parts list are all in the bikes section up in general.
Chances are it's gone, but there were a load of guys from the uk istaying in vans and looking sketchy who left the same night/morning, so they might turn up in the UK.
I haven't got a list of the oppther bikes, but they were fairly mid range jobbies so not too easy to look out for.
Thanks for any help you can give, and I'll catch up with you all soon.
PS notable differences to other mini-links (as if anyone see's many) are the number 11 stamped on the frame by the drop-outs and above the shock, small welded plates on the top of the swing-arm (both sides), and dents on each side of the top-tube where triple crowns have hit it.
On a better note, to those coming out to France, the weather is lush, Pleney is way bumpy but most other tracks around are reet good, and Chatel has a freeride comp on this weekend with some hefty looking jumps in it.
Again, cheers for your help y'all , and I'll be back on at the weekend
xx
