i have a giant terrago trail with MPH hydralic brakes. the problem i've noticed is that when I pull the front lever to apply the brakes the lever doesn't return to its normal sprung position. I have to gently push the lever back to its normal position. It is only about quarter of an inch but it is irritating. I've checked the manual and haynes bike maintainence book but notihing. I bought it new about 5 days ago so i could take it back to the shop but prefer to ask here first.

Just take it back if new, no point in fiddling and voiding your warranty! Is it the MPH or MPH Root?
  • Had same problem.I just sprayed a little oil where the leaver joint is and that solved it.Not sure if that was the right thing to do,but have had no issues since.Problem occurred from new 10 months ago.Bike is mostly professionally maintained and no complications have arisen from my actions.Bike in constant use. :)
