recently bought the park big blue book to help understand hydraulic brakes and have followed the insuctions on how to bleed/replace brake fluid thouroughly. I have only done the rear brake so far. i am now finding that the bite point on the lever is almost touching the grip, whereas the front brake bite point is a good inch and a quarter away from the grip. The brakes are hayes nines and are the first pair of disc brakes that i have had. Any advice on how to get the bite point to return to its origianal position?
Thanks in advance.

there will be an allen key adjuster where the lever pushes on the master piston. adjust it to adjust the lever position.

THat is just for lever reach position , What i am after is the bite point . i have replaced all the fluid but it feels as if there is not enough in .
Thanks for the quick reply though.

there is none. as you use the brake it settles top where it wants to be. moving the lever away helps this.

would topping up the lever with fluid do that?
