Hi all
At the end of the month me and friend are planning on riding from Chepstow to Liverpool following the route in the link.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en ... e=UTF8&z=8
Just before we get to Liverpool centre the Google map shows that we cross the River Mersey on a road called Queensway
By showing a satelite view, it shows that the Queensway Road and the Kingsway Road (just to the North) are under the river..
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en ... 4&t=h&z=14
As we've never been to Liverpool, we don't know if we can ride on these roads.
Can anyone with some local knowledge tell me if we can ride on the roads, and if not, what would be the best way across?
Many Thanks
Richard

kings + queensway are very busy tunnels mate.. People do ride through them but only on organised rides when they have been closed for a few hours.
There are 2 options? One is hop aboard a train and come out in Liverpool but personally I would hop aboard the Mersey ferry and get off in Liverpool. Its a pretty nice trip on the ferry.. I use the ferry when i commute to work. They are very Bike friendly
