    Now I'm as partial to a bit of scahdenfreude as the next man but I have to say the whole wasp/skinsuit/mountain descent/truck combo produced more of a coldsweat than giggle on my part.

    that's an absolute nightmare, well done for surviving it

    ised to regularly ride in France on the Isle de Noirmoutier (- Prologue 2005). One day I felt an insect fly in my vent, and stopped just as a wasp stung me. I realised that i had stopped in a garage/scrapyard, just as the dog ran out and bit me on the leg. Only 15 miles home with throbbing head, and stinging calf.

    Haven't developed Rabies yet. I would now choose a helmet with mesh, and keep my vest tightly zipped at all times.
