Hey all, im currently thinking of getting a new hardtail frame. I got some ideas of few of the best frames just wondered what peoples opinion of them are and i know from reviews that they are excellent frames so heres me list:
Cove Stiffee
Dmr Exalt
Identiti Mr Hyde
Santa Cruz Chameleon
or any other reccomendations.
I ride mostly urban freeriding and trails and soon as i get a car(later on in year)ill be free riding out bound in wilderness ie woods moors north shore. What i am riding now is a Yeti dj 07 model custom built bike, which is only few months old and it is a great bike to ride, handles nice and is light, strong and frame quality is superb, but i am thinking that maybe should of gone for the Cove or other frame as i think there more based towards freeriding. The bike i have is more 4x and street,dj than freeriding i only got it as the frame was very cheap brand new where got it from, so the question is do i consider gettting new frame and swapping parts other or is what i have good enough.
I also have long travel forks 150mm on too but its fine with it on, any bigger and prop wont be right. Can any of the above mentioned frames take longer forks 150mm+
as also maybe thinking upgrading forks ie the Mazocchi 66 as the travel on there is adjustable 180mm to 140mm .
