Tightening loose Spokes.

I have a couple of loose spokes on my front wheel,can I just tighten them up or will I throw the wheel out of true ?? Sorry for the daft question but I've never dabbled with spoke adjustment before :?

have a read of sheldons wheel pages, and yes you can if you have the correct spoke key.
But for a first i would LBS it with a pack of hobnobs and wait and watch.
