I have a couple of loose spokes on my front wheel, can I just tighten them up or will I throw the wheel out of true ?? Sorry for the daft question but I've never dabbled with spoke adjustment before :?

have a read of sheldons wheel pages, and yes you can if you have the correct spoke key.

But for a first i would LBS it with a pack of hobnobs and wait and watch.

PS hobnobs are NOT for you.

ROFL. I love the idea of a customer standing there munching Hobnobs while a slightly cross/peckish mechanic trues his wheel... :-D
