bike insurance

Who do ppl on here have there bikes insured with?

At what value of bike is it worth get it insured?

I have just purchased a trek for £900 off ebay, do i insure it for the ebay price or the new price?

  • Yes i tried the search function it brought up lots of results, but the only relevent threads say add it to the household insurance ,then other treads saying that my bike wont be fully covered through the household insurance. so back to square 1.

    Very helpful and friendly. Make sure you read the policy carefully though. Quite a few requirements you have to meet.

    you may need to take it to an LBS for a proper valuation. check with the insurer to make sure you meet their requirements.
