I'm a new member of the forum, just thinking about getting back on my bike after a few years away.
I have a 6/7 year old Falcon Explorer, which suits me fine as a bike, but need some advice/ motivation on what I ought to be able to acheive in my mid-40's. I can't use my bike daily - work 35 miles away and need to go out on business most days so need to take the car.
Are they any clubs around Coventry that would suit me?
I'm not interested in flat out road riding or MTB, but enjoyable touring, and a bit of socialising.
Look forward to hearing some opinions!!!

I was in your position 2 years ago. You can find a club on the BC website, I would urge you to join one and get stuck in!0

You could also Google for a local campaigning group - their rides are even more easygoing (maybe too easygoing), but they're a nice, sociable tootle about IMO and experience.
