Junior Races

I'm thinking of having a go - any idea what speeds these races average and what distances they are? (u16 section)

    I think you might be in Youth - so it'll be closed road or circuit races and fairly short distances. When you get to Junior I think you can ride in senior races on open roads open to your category.
    it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

    Yep U16 is youth, it'll be closed circuit and short distances, don't know off hand, but it'll be less than 20 miles i think for most (if not all) races.
