Ok, so need to ask a simple question here, what means what when talking about forks?

I know preload, well kinda.

turnkey lockout and U-turn adjust are fine.

but Damping Adjust External rebound?

anyone care to clear it up?

Please feel free to add more such as solo air? etc etc etc

Damping controls the forks movement (it's speed). Rebound damping controls how fast the fork extends after a hit. Sometimes it is set from the factory, and unadjustable, but adjustable models allow you to dial in just how fast it extends for your riding and preference.

Compression damping works in tandem with the spring. It is used to stop the fork diving when braking and to control fork bob when pedalling (low speed compression, such as Motion Control), while high speed compression adjustment allows you to adjust how the fork reacts on big, square edged hits. High speed adjustment is often found on long travel forks ie RS Mission Control.
