Picked it up a few days ago, well happy with it.
Only been on roads so far as im trying to get fit again
(smoker as you can tell by the top of the radiator ) ,
but im hoping to get over to Aston Hill soon.
I changed the pedals for a set of flats and im going to change the bars soon
for some risers as the stock ones feel a bit too small.

Thanks for the replys chaps.
I agree with ya Streako they dont look right, but they do feel comfortable
and thats what is important to me
If you take a look at the pics in my sig you will see that i did the same thing
with my old Kona, must be the old bmx'er in me coming out lol
I have kept the original pedals so maybe i'll give them a go later on.
You spotted the color co-ordinated cage then, i kinda ruined the look
by going for a grey colored bottle though
Thats a seriously nice bit of kit you have there Ashley !0 -
Nice looking rig you have there!
One thing that I think makes them look wrong is that they are angled up and need to be rotated toward the rider a touch so they sweep back.
I have not ridden using the new higher rise bares, the last bars that I used were Pace Renthal 130s.
These were connected to a Diamonback Axis TT, with Ti cranks and Hope and Pace hubs.
This was stolen after a road accident in 2001 and I have not ridden since.
So I am still in the old days LOL...0 -
Looks a nice fast bike:) Enjoy and go and get it muddy/dusty.0
